1. Who we are

GetInked (“GetInked,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a tattoo studio management platform operated by JavlinAI, Inc. Our services include a mobile app for tattoo artists and a public-facing web platform at getinked.co.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an artist account, we collect your email address and the profile information you provide (name, bio, studio name, location, tattoo styles, and profile photo).

Booking and client data

Artists who use GetInked to manage their business store client names, contact details, appointment records, consent forms, session notes, and portfolio images on our platform.

Payment information

Deposit payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe processes and stores payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance.

Usage data

We collect anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature usage patterns) to improve the product. No individually identifying data is included in these analytics.

Device and log data

When you use our mobile app, we collect device type, operating system version, crash reports, and error logs to maintain reliability.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the GetInked platform
  • To send booking confirmations and aftercare text sequences on behalf of artists
  • To send push notifications related to bookings and account activity
  • To process payments via Stripe Connect
  • To diagnose bugs and improve app stability
  • To contact you about your account or material changes to this policy

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data sharing

Service providers

We share data with third-party providers that help us operate GetInked:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Twilio — SMS delivery for reminders and aftercare texts
  • Expo — push notification delivery
  • Vercel — web app hosting

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of GetInked, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g., for financial reporting). Client records stored on behalf of artists are retained until the artist deletes them or their account is closed.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Export your data in a portable format

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest via Supabase, row-level security policies, and short-lived access tokens for authentication. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and report any suspected security issues to security@getinked.co.

8. Children's privacy

GetInked is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notification.
